Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt together. Stir in 1 cup of the warm water and olive oil. Mix for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add the remaining flour and water, alternating a little at a time. Knead dough on a floured surface for 4-6 minutes or until dough no longer sticks to your fingers. Press and roll into a circle.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and minced garlic together. Brush over dough. Spread pizza sauce on top and add mozzarella cheese and tomato slices. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is brown on the edges. Top with freshly ground black pepper and fresh basil.
