Stella® Kasseri (“kuh-SAIR-ee”) is a tasty and versatile cheese with a tangy, slightly salty flavor and firm texture. Kasseri was originally produced in Greece and remains one of that country’s most popular cheeses to this day.
Kasseri is remarkably versatile and can be used in much the same way as mozzarella. Grate Kasseri over pizza and pasta, sprinkle it into omelets with diced green peppers or even melt it over garlic bread and soups. Its sharp flavor also shines on salads and on antipasto trays made with meats, nuts, crackers and olives.
